It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I tend to get flustered when presented with a lot of paperwork or a lot of options, but Ms. J broke the degree requirements into segments, so I only had to decide between 5 or 6 courses at a time.
So! Here's what we came up with:
9:00-9:50 Comparative Religion
10:00-10:50 Macroeconomics
11:00-11:50 Intro to Music
4:00-5:50 Algebra (Mon/Wed only)
Like I said, I had limited options, so I'm knocking out 1 of 2 math requirements, 1 of 2 social sciences, 1 of 1 arts and humanities, and 1 of 1 diversities. I still have an English, a natural science, a history, and all my program requirements.
I'd wanted Microeconomics, but it was full. Instead of Intro to Theater, I got Intro to Music. Religion was a first choise to satisfy the diversities requirement, and also the most "not me", but it will be fun, I think. I consider myself a secular humanist, but that's a post for another time.
So it's real now, I'm a college student. Overwhelming - yes. Absolutely yes. But I can do this.
