So - Theseus is out right now, taking the civil service exam for fire fighters. I'm very anxious/excited! He's been looking forward to this for over a year, but because of the deployment, he is just now taking it. I hope he places well!
While he's been gone, the baby has (mercifully) been sleeping. I've been able to do four loads of laundry (don't judge me!), pick up the living room, water the indoor plants and empty and refill the dishwasher.
Don't ask me why I compulsively list the banal tasks I've completed. I guess I just like to feel like I've been productive.
What else can I do? It's nearly 8 and I haven't heard from Theseus yet (exam was at 5:30). Guess I will park my behind on the couch until the baby wakes up to eat.
Also there is a stray cat sleeping under my car as I type this. Sigh.
